SEVENDUST Guitarist CLINT LOWERY Checks In From The Road

SEVENDUST guitarist Clint Lowery, who recently returned to the band after a three-and-a-half-year absence, has issued the following update:

"First off, let me just say that the past few weeks back with SEVENDUST has been unreal. The shows have been insane and I've really enjoyed being back with these guys.

"All of you that I've met for the first time, the fans that have been there with us from the beginning and the ones that came in between, thank you for being so cool to me and giving me such a warm welcome back!

"It's been a very emotional tour for me, in the most positive way. Every night I get to kinda relive the excitement of being back in this camp every night through all of you.

"I forgot how hard it can be on the body playing with these guys Damn! Every night my neck is about to disconnect from my head!!

I love the pain that comes with playing a show like this.

"These guys have kept me in stitches the whole time talking about old stuff, new stuff you name it. The only problem is I want to play a four-hour set!! Lol!!

"Being away from these guys makes me appreciate touring heavily, the only way that SEVENDUST knows how to do it!!!

"Playing the new songs has been awesome, but all the songs off 'Next', 'Alpha' and 'Hope & Sorrow' are new to me.

"You fans have been insane. I get off watching you guys tear it up out there.

"On this tour every night I take a second just to stare out at the crowd and soak that shit in!!

"I'm blessed to be able to play music damnit and I know this!

"I'll stop yapping but I do want to thank LJ, Morgan, John, Vinnie and our amazing crew for making this a great first tour back.

"I swear I feel like this is gonna be an amazing year. We're already talking about future tours, new music and different ways to keep you guys entertained!!

"I love every one of you and can't wait to see you if I haven't seen you already!!!

SEVENDUST' new album, "Chapter VII: Hope & Sorrow" (7Bros/Asylum),sold 25,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release to land at position No. 19 on The Billboard 200 chart. This is substantially less than the opening number of its predecessor, "Alpha", which registered a first-week tally of 42,000 copies in March 2007 to debut at No. 14.
